Dr. Carsten Sørensen is the Associate Professor in Digital Innovation at London School of Economics, and author of Enterprise Mobility: Tiny Technology with Global Impact on Work.
He holds a BSc. in mathematics, an MSc in computer science and a Ph.D. in information systems from Aalborg University, Denmark. Since joining the LSE in “99 Carsten has studied the business and consumer impact of mobile and ubiquitous information technology innovations. For more than a decade he’s studied organisational innovation with mobile computing, and since 2008 his research has focused in particular on the innovation dynamics of mobile infrastructures and platforms.
Carsten has been widely published within a whole range of Information Systems publications, and is the Senior Editor and reviewer for The Information Systems Journal and its conferences. He has consulted and conducted executive teaching with a range of large international firms and public organisations, such as Microsoft, Google, PA Consulting Group, IMF, Orange, Intel, and Vodafone to name a few.
